No, it's uncommon and just a little too wild. Try a coral lipstick with the plaid skirt and maybe a beige mesh tank top instead.

It all depends. What is the occasion? Is your wife going with you or is this a night out on the town with the guys? I think it is always important to try and dress for what you are doing and your age.
Not unless they're also wearing purple eyeshadow. The eyeshadow definitely pulls the whole look together.
Those in the know never wear green with plaid. Try purple...it's the new pink...for guys...who wear lipstick.
