Wedding Lipstick.Hot pink Lipstick or Not? Ladies?

Hi there- I am getting married in two weeks in Vegas and I am getting my makeup done- which am very very excited about... my problem is that when I went for the trial she put hot pink lipstick on me and I actually really like it and you see stars wearing it all the time these days... so is it in for the summer or out? People kind of gave me the look that I looked like a hooker but I dont know if I am just being self consious... Please help... The lady said that it was just because I wasnt used to it and that it was going to be perfect for the pictures. Also, hot pink is one of my colors haha! Any advice is greatly appreicated! Please please please! You guys are my only help... my friends and family (most of them) told me oh it looks great- but you never know who is lying ya know to make you feel good haha! Wedding makeup is usually neutral and natural, good for photos. If you're really pale, hot pink might not be the best way to go ... But hey, you only have a wedding once (uh, or your first wedding once) so you can experiment with it.
I'd tone it down a bit for a wedding...don't forget, you'll have pictures taken, %26amp; years from now you don't want your grandkids to be asking, ';Hey, Gramma, what's with the lips?'; But definitely use it on the honeymoon! ;-) Best wishes
dont wear it, try a nude color.





you dont want to make the mistake of wearing it and having it look bad then having to look at those wedding pictures and think..';oh god i wish i didnt wear that lipstick...';
don't wear the hot pink lipstick. you'll look like a hooker on your wedding day.





wear a natural color like peach or light pink. something subtle, yet complimenting the rest of your makeup.
I've heard from experts that you don't want to wear something thats too off base from your normal make up look. If you wear darker colors then wear darker lipstick,and the same for light colors and light lipstick.
what about a champagne color.
Well, if you think it will work with your dress and wedding colors then it could be ok. It basically comes down to how comfortable you feel wearing bright pink lipstick. At the end of the day, it is only lipstick, and if you're still a bit unsure on the day it can be easily wiped off and replaced with a more neutral color.





In terms of the photo's it could be a bit loud, but without seeing the real effect only a visual in my mind it's hard to say. But whatever, it's your day so do what makes you happy.
