My lipstick always comes off mins on putting it on..is there some kind of ';sealer'; I can apply to make it stay?
I don't know of a lipstick sealer, except for the kind that is sold along with long-wearing lipsticks. I don't like those lipstick/sealer combinations because the lipstick is uncomfortable and the sealer feels greasy to me. I love Revlon ColorStay and Avon Perfect Color lipsticks. Both last all day without having to use a sealer or a primer, and they aren't expensive. My lipstick always comes off mins on putting it on..is there some kind of ';sealer'; I can apply to make it stay?
I used covergirl outlast all day lip color and i does not come off! There is a color coat and a clear coat. Also I have heard of this great product called model in a bottle. (http://www.modelinabottle.com/) I don't know if it works on lipstick or not but I'd love to try it myself.
After applying your lipstick, try and put a coating of clear lipgloss over the surface.
Try Revlon or Loreal lipsticks.

My lipstick very rarely stays on, regardless of brand. Any suggestions ladies?
Are you using a long wearing lipstick? If so, you may not be waiting for it to dry completely(long wearing wand type)or applying too thick a coat before you put on the gloss. You can tell if by checking the gloss wand. If the gloss wand has any color on it, you aren't waiting for it to dry completely or the coat is too thick. If you are using a long wearing lipstick type without a gloss stick and just using any lip gloss that is not geared for the long wearing lipsticks, it will wear off. The lip gloss has oils in it, which will make a long wearing rub off. If you are just using a regular lipstick that is not long wearing, use a concealer like Colorstay by Revlon. This concealer is geared to wear longer than the average concealer. Apply a little to clean, dry lips and then apply your lipcolor(lipliner also if you use it) then take a single ply of tissue and place it over your lips. Get a makeup brush and dip it into your loose powder and then you brush it onto the tissue. There really isn't one lipstick that is going to stay on all day but there are lipstick applications that can make a big difference. One trick used you can use is to extend your foundation over your lips. It will help the lipstick adhere to the lip. This is a lot of gals' favorite trick. Another tip is to apply your lipstick and then blot with a tissue to remove excess lipstick. This should leave a stain on your lip. Now reapply your lipstick. Another great tool is powder. Pressed powder is preferred over loose powder. After you have applied your lipstick use your powder puff and dust your lips with powder. Not too much! Reapply lipstick. Make sure you have a separate powder for this as your puff will get lipstick all over it. An inexpensive one is fine. Experiment with these different applications and find the one or combination of all of them that works best for you. Avon has a line out called ';MARK'; and there you can find KissInk... lip tint marker.. There aren't a lot of colors to choose from but this is the longest lasting stuff I have seen. It goes on just like if you were coloring your lips with a magic marker, so I just use this as a base for some color, and the rest of the day I just gloss.

I like to wear light pink lipgloss, but I'm looking for something that will stay on longer, like lipstick?

I buy most products at Sephora, because they always are very helpful about things. But as to products themselves, I think lip tints are nice because they are so multi-purpose and not hard to apply at all- you can even put lip gloss on top if you want to! Mac LipGlass are excellent glosses - they have a number of light pink colors I'll bet you'd like. I actually use a light lipstick (the Loreal stay on lipglosses), and then I put on a Mac Lipglass over it and it stays put most of the day! Perfect combination!
I still like light pink (or similar), but I like lighter not darker.
Budget is not really an issue... I'm white, w/ brown hair and blue/green eyes.

A really good option is to buy a thicker lip pencil (CVS has a cheap brand called Milano that's actually not bad) and to line and fill in your lips. Then use another lipstick or gloss over that. maybelline--superstay lipcolor. I have honestly tried just about all of the colorstay lipsticks, and glosses and this by far is the best. I don't often use the part 2 because it doesn't seem to stay on as well. But I put it on at 6am and chase after 2 young boys, get lots of kisses, eat, drink, yawn, talk. get my faced 'washed too' by my son and it is still on at bedtime. If I don't remove it, it is still there in the morning just not as fresh looking.

Maybelline has a super wonderful lipstick that lasts more than 8 hours and really works. Maybelline long lasting comes in all sorts of tones. Will not smudge or anything. Thats the one I trust. I hope this helps!!

I recently bought Sonia Kashuk's lipstick and I love it. It feels great on my lips and it has a subtle vanilla taste. But it doesn't last long. Most lipsticks I have tried that are supposed to last for hours dry up and become matte and I don't like matte lipstick. I like very creamy, lustrous lipstick.

You should try Seal the Deal by Tarte. You can get it at Sephora. Just apply lipstick, allow time for it to dry, then apply Seal the Deal. It works great for me.

Yes. Almay. The shade is called Venus Pink, and maybe it will work with your skin tone. In any case, to get the stuff to stay put, you have to do a little prep work on your lips.
Moisturize them EVERY morning and night so they are not rough. That's just a given. Carmex works fantastically.
When you are making them up, pat a wee tad of your foundation on your lips. Then line them with a nude-colored liner, and actually FILL THEM IN lightly with the liner. Then apply the lipstick.
Now, remember, not too heavy on any of these components, or you'll have a cakey runny globby mess on your hands. LIGHTLY, lightly, my sweet.

I would suggest choosing their lightest shade of pink, dabbing a tiny bit on your upper and lower lips, and blending it outwards. this will make the color very light, and you can add more or use less of the stuff until you get the intensity you want.
None of the paler colours really last. Darker colours last longer as they stain your lips. You could try blotting tho. Add a fine cover of powder (like talc) to the finished application. Using a lip liner can help too as when the lipstick has gone at least the lip liner helps to define your lips for a while longer.

try any of the colour stay lipsticks by cover girl or revlon. the ones that come in two parts...colour and then the top coat. the top coat is just like lip balm and gives you the dewey feel of lipstick.. when this wears off re apply and you don't have to put on any more colour. Blot once with a double ply tissue. This may dim the color, which is okay.
Step3
Apply a second layer of lipstick, and blot again. This removes the oils from the lipstick and leaves the matte and color behind, which will stay better over the course of the day.
Step4
Apply a clear gloss over the top to help you seal in the color and allow your lips to retain their color much longer.

Why doesnt my lipstick stay on my bottom lip?
Ive noticed more and more that my lipsticks will not stay on my bottom lip. its more towards the inner part, its like it just wont go on, when i glide the lipstick over it it doesnt take butthe top lip no problem. Its not the whole lip more towards the middle inner part. Gloss is ok tho. Any ideas why? I use to rub my lip with a towel then apply and it worked but not anymore. Ivetrried it with my lips dried and wet, no lck and its really starting to annoy me. Any ideas would be great thanks.

you may want to invest in a smudgeproof 12 hour stay (or 16 hour or whatever hour) lipstick. a good option that just came out is the covergirl (or maybellling?) infallible lipstick.
The best thing to do is this::

You can apparently get your lips tattoo'd. I think it can last about 5 years or so if it's based on henna.

If i was you i would go to boots or superdrug or somewhere like that and have alook at the lipstick or gloss and see what looks the best on you! And when you are at scholl or with or friend just take a mirror around with you inn your blazer or use you mirror off you mobile...x

Hi i use maybelline 16 hour colour stay one, its brilliant and it doesnt come off at all, so remeber to choose a colour you like or you wont get it off, unless you scrub half you lips off. I found this out when i got the wrong colour for my lips. I love it and you can drink and eat how much you want and if will even stay on till the next day. Its well worth the money and lasts for days. You also get another lip balm thing in it that works as a gloss and is a really good moisturiser. Just apply the lip stick its like lip gloss from but dries on like lip stick wait three mins then apply the balm.

well, longerlasting lipsticks always dry out your lips so what i would recomend is dab just a bit of foundation on to your lips and then put on your lipstick, foundation is a great lipbase and it helps gloss and lipstick stay on for hours!

Hi i use maybelline 16 hour colour stay one, its brilliant and it doesnt come off at all, so remeber to choose a colour you like or you wont get it off, unless you scrub half you lips off. I found this out when i got the wrong colour for my lips. I love it and you can drink and eat how much you want and if will even stay on till the next day. Its well worth the money and lasts for days. You also get another lip balm thing in it that works as a gloss and is a really good moisturiser. Just apply the lip stick its like lip gloss from but dries on like lip stick wait three mins then apply the balm.

well, longerlasting lipsticks always dry out your lips so what i would recomend is dab just a bit of foundation on to your lips and then put on your lipstick, foundation is a great lipbase and it helps gloss and lipstick stay on for hours!

go to mac and get the lip stick primer, apply your favorite lip STICK color, then apply just a regular chap stick over it, i use nivea kiss of moisture, it gives your lips a stronger pop, the primer keeps it on for a longgg time, and the nivea will give your lips a glossy appearance.
you can get the nivea at walmart or any drug store, and the mac lip stick and primer run about 14 dollars each

Get the Lip Stain from Bee Luscious. Then apply their Lip Lock to ';lock in'; the color and cover that with their Lip Tox clear gloss! This way you get your color locked in and only need to apply the clear after kissing and eating/drinking. You can go to htt://www.beeluscious.com You can then thank me for a perfect wedding. LOL
You should try Loreal Infallible Lipcolor. It's an 8 hour lasting lipgloss that comes in tons of beautiful shades. It works great! I used it for homecoming and I didn't have to touch up for the whole night!

You need to use the 2 system lipsticks - one applicator has lip stain and the other is a gloss that keeps it shiney and makes your lips feel nice.
I use Max Factor Lipfinity and it lasts all day, I just top it up with the shine pen that comes with it. It doesn't make your lips feel odd, infact i hardly know it's there!

I always put a tiny bit of vaseline on first to create a smooth base. apply lippy, blot with tissue and reapply - this helps it last a longer.

The Lip Mask gently exfoliates the dead skin from the surface of your lips and the Lip Balm is the only one I know of that doesn't contain salicylic acid! I'm sure there may be one or two others, but I couldn't tell you what they are.
So here's what you do:

u could try using a concealer then blotting the access off, then appling a lip pencil this is normally a really good way of keeping ur lippy in one place

If it is a lipstick, you can use a little bit of a similar color lip liner, and basically color in your lips with that lip liner color, and then put the lipstick on. This should help it adhere to your lips better.
As for a lipgloss, some last longer, and some don't. It just depends on the actual brand/type. However, you can buy a lip primer, which would work for both lip gloss, and lipstick. A primer is basically just something you put on before your makeup, and it helps it become more pigmented and stay longer.
The only one I know of is MAC Prep+Prime Lip. http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>
Its a bit expensive, but, well worth it.

Start buying Cover Girl Outlast lipsticks. Or L'Oreal Infallible lipsticks. I put on the color, let it dry, put on the lip gloss that comes with it and I swear it'll still be on my lips the next morning. These products are wonderful.
if its a lip gloss dont use a lip liner if its a lipstick a lip liner will help a lil bit also try going to sephora or ulta and looking for a lip primer like they have eyeshadow primers just use a lip one
put the lip gloss in your pocket when your lip is dry put some more gloss on there does that answer your question!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Lipfinity by Maxfactor has been the absolute best for me. I am a sucker for red lipstick, and I have always hated wearing it bc if you sweat, it runs, if you smoke, it fades, etc. Lipfinity has always stayed on, for hours, and does none of these things. You just have to add the gloss and it is beautiful!

Boots either no 7 or no 17 (the cheaper one). I have tried all of the 12 hour ones but i always go back to Boots, they cost about 拢4 and i put it on maybe 2 x a day. Some of the others Maybelline etc leave your lips bone dry but not this one. It is in a green tube.

It's really cheap and you can buy it at your local Walmart. I actually wore it to my friend's Sweet Sixteen and I got tons of compliments. I think you should really try it. I am seriously impressed with Maybelline (not sure exactly what it is called). It is not a lipstick but a liquidy substance that dries on your lips. Once dried, you put a clear, moisturising lip balm on. All I carry in my handbag is this clear lip balm to keep my lips moisturised throughout the day. By late afternoon, my lipstick is still on and best of all, I can drink liquids without leaving lipstick marks on my cup.
i like the one from Avon reasonable price usually in an offer that means u usually get sum thing free of u get it half price it comes in two parts one part is the colour and the other part is the stuff that seals the colour stays fast and loads of different colours

MaxFactor Lipfinity? I find such 'staying' lipsticks quite drying on the lips though.
Try to apply it in layers....atleast two to three layers...avoid drinking water or any other movement that will dissolve your lipstick..
Maybelline and Max factor have these lip sticks that last very long. Although the Maybelline ones might make your lip feel a little dry so you can just apply it and then apply another lip stick on it. Doesn't matter what you do that day, your lip stick will last very very long.

Pat very lightly a little foundation, or even a little concealer. I use lip liner very close to my lipstick. Don't use a lip pencil that is too much of a contrast. It should look natural. I find gloss comes off very quickly.

there's a lipstick by maybelline that really stays there practically for half a day even if you eat. it is quite dry itself and it comes together with a lip balm which is the only thing you must re-apply now and again, because the foundation color really stays on...but i feel like it it too strong, i prefer soft lipsticks myself, full with vitamins and oils, even if they don't hold...but for a special event try these out...if you really want to know the brand, e-mail me... cause I have it at home...
you can try a lipstick which stays for long lik revlon...or else u can apply a lip pencil of the same shade off ur lipstick all over ur lips and then apply ur lipstick and ttop it all wit a good gloss... but please dont overdo it ur lips may look to large ... blieve me it works

The best technique that I've used is apply your lip liner and then your lipstick, blot it and re-apply your lipstick this really does help to keep it on for longer.
Put some powder on colored lips. It should stay longer then. Try not to rub or lick your lips, especially after eating or drinking.

Try to apply it in layers....atleast two to three layers...avoid drinking water or any other movement that will dissolve your lipstick..
Maybelline and Max factor have these lip sticks that last very long. Although the Maybelline ones might make your lip feel a little dry so you can just apply it and then apply another lip stick on it. Doesn't matter what you do that day, your lip stick will last very very long.

The best technique that I've used is apply your lip liner and then your lipstick, blot it and re-apply your lipstick this really does help to keep it on for longer.
Put some powder on colored lips. It should stay longer then. Try not to rub or lick your lips, especially after eating or drinking.
