Does anyone have any GREAT tricks on how to apply lipstick to increase its staying power?

do you add a lip pencil before applying lipstick, or blot, or use a lipbrush ??? any other suggestions...Does anyone have any GREAT tricks on how to apply lipstick to increase its staying power?
First use Vaseline at night so that your lips will be moist and soft in the morning. Put on a little bit of foundation on your lips as a base. Use a long lasting lip liner and then put on two coats of lipstick. Put on lip liner again and top it off with a coat of clear lipgloss. My favorite lip gloss is Lancome. Good luck!Does anyone have any GREAT tricks on how to apply lipstick to increase its staying power?
Apply chapstick, then liner, then lipstick, wait about 20-30 seconds (you can do your mascara while your waiting), then clear lip sealant. (Lipgloss has basically the same affect, but it may not last as long)

It'll seal your lipstick all day long.
red rustoleum will last!
use petroleum jelly first...it works kinda like silicon and fills in allthe creases and it makes your lips look fuller and the color last longer...its also a good moisturizer
line your lips and fill ur lips in with the liner. then apply lipstick over it and then u can purchase a lip-sealing gloss from sephora and ur set ;)
A lot of professionals suggest applying the lipstick with a brush for better staying power, but for me in the mornings before work this is too time consuming. In my experience creamier formulas have better staying power. My preffered method is to use a lipstick with some staying power like the Loreal Endless Kissable lipsticks and then applying a gloss over for added moisture and shine. If I apply this at like 7am I am good until at least 1pm, depending on what I eat. Sometimes I just need to reapply the gloss.
