dab on some foundation or powder (powder works best) right before you apply. Try using a creamy lipstick instead of a shimmery or a matte one. then dust powder lightly (VERY lightly) over it when you're done.

The only way I know of to make it last besides walking around not touching your lips is to buy a type that is made to last. Maybeline Superstay is really good, comes in a lot of colors, and is pretty cheap ($6.99 at most drug stores). I highly recommend it since it really does stay on for a long time.

I would have to say put so much on, or just dont drink or lick your lips or eat. =P
Befor puting on your lipstick put on some Chapstick then the lipstick it will make it last longer.
